Entry #7 - The Vick V

There once was a beautiful shoe that got put on hold due to some unfortunate circumstances...

Yea, I know you may have already seen pics of this floating around on the internet, but did you know the tongue said, "THIS ONE IS FOR THE PEOPLE." Michael Vick 9.4.05/Fri. 3:50pm EST?

And the fact that there is simulated animal skin-masterpiece.

Entry #6 - The Nike Dinosaurs

This sweatshirt features what I guess is a Nike running team comprised of old farts? They are a formidable team, they came in 39th in the 2005 Hood to Coast Walk.

The design is pretty cool, ol T-Wrecks is using a Swoosh for a cane. And he's got nice shoes too.

Entry #5 - Millikan Park Trailer Trash

The Millikan Park Trailer Trash.

For trailer folk, they sure had nice jerseys. Cool Millikan Park patch on the sleeve, and sewn on nameplate on back.

Entry #4 - Who's The Boss?

So, what's the proper attire to wear when you want Alyssa Milano to call you daddy? Your Nike Who's The Boss cardigan sweater of course.

Has the official Who's The Boss logo embroidered on the left chest, Nike logo embroidered on the right chest, and authentic Nike Apparel tagging in the neck.

Entry #3 - Yankees / Fenway Hybrid

This one is pretty crazy. I don't know if this ever made it to production, it has to be a sample, right? Could Nike EVER get away with making a New York Yankees jersey with a backdrop that seems to be an old shot of Fenway? After all, left field says "The Red Sox Use".

Also leading me to believe it is a sample is what seems to be the unfinished patch on the right sleeve. Seems to be cut off on the side, doesn't it?

It looks like Nike was hoping to garner MLB approval, has an MLB patch sewn on front near the bottom, and MLB tagging in the neck. The style of Nike tagging seems to suggest this is a late 80's incarnation...

Entry #2 - Team JCPenney / Nike

Nike sponsors plenty of teams and athletes, but here's one maybe you hadn't heard about. This piece comes from the 1993 CART Season, made for Team JCPenney/Nike. Driver that season was Lyn St. James. While her season probably didn't go as she'd hoped, she sure did have snappy jackets.

Entry #1 - Camino Bowl

This very first entry is a personal favorite of mine. It's from Nike's short lived bowling line, probably circa 1986 or 1987. Has cool vertical lines running down the front, simulating boards on a lane, along with the formation of arrows or darts that we're all familiar seeing 15 feet down the lane. It's been customized into Brian's Camino Bowl shirt, and still has the Nike bowling logo sewn on the left sleeve. By the way, the posed bowler in the link above is the Medford Meteor, Marshall Holman.
