Entry #30 - AF25 Pujols Edition

We're flashing back to the 2007 season, when Albert Pujols was sporting custom Air Force 25 shoes. Pretty much every picture of him wearing the shoes are the cleated versions, while this particular pair here were specially made for flat artificial turf like astroturf (which is used pretty much nowhere Albert played the entire season.) He did actually wear them once, in a photo shoot...

Entry #29 - Mile High Majesty

Football's back! A look at one of Nike's early attempts at licensed NFL goods...

The hypebeast of Denver Broncos gear? Dig the chenile DENVER across the front.

Kind of reminds me of those old Nike Volleyball sweatshirts that would pop up on rap albums in the late 80's.

Entry #28 - Dimension 6

This must be a jersey for a Nike softball team made up of people who received unfortunate names from their parents, and later changed it at their friends urging.

Here's an old Stanford alumni newsletter that's a fun Dimension 6 read.

Entry #26 - Hoyas Nike legend

If you have a copy of Scoop Jackson's fantastic book Sole Provider, turn to page 32.

You'll see Patrick Ewing is wearing the Nike Legend - on his shirt. John Thompson and Nike teamed up for a sweet moment of athletic outfitting, giving the Hoyas little Legend shoes on their sleeves.

NCAA made it a limited time promotion.

Entry #25 - Ralph Miller Camp

Oregon State isn't usually one of those schools you think about when talking about legendary basketball coaches, but Ralph Miller was indeed one of the greatest.

Entry #24 - Visible Air Flightposites

It was the summer of '06, and my brother and I decided to hop on a plane with no hotel, no plan, but a destination-The Las Vegas Niketown.

We were expecting to witness the finest collection of Nikes outside of Beaverton, and we were not disappointed. Kind of a Woodstock moment for the shoeheads.

Here's what I wore: Air Flightposite samples with visible air soles.
