Entry #47 - AK 47

I tried and tried to find pics of Andrei wearing these shoes, but after wading through a thousand shots of his tattoo across his back, I gave up...

Entry #46 - Juwan's Signature

I wonder if the designer of the Air Player Signature liked to toss the ol' Nerf Turbo around...

This is an original sample of the Jumpman Pro, this one was made with the Air Jordan XI LE sole.

Entry #44 - Honor Roll 71-01

Kind of ironic that a shirt made with a school honor roll theme would have poor grammar. Air Force Low 82's quote should read "You're my endless love." not your.

And Foam Posits 97? Huh?

Maybe that's why I ended up finding it at the outlet store...

Entry #43 - Phil Smith's Shoes

Judging by the team picture, the Super Sonics liked Nike shoes. Maybe GM Zollie Volchuk's Oregon ties (he was born in Salem) helped Nike get a foot in the door with the Sonics?

At any rate, Zollie is the guy wearing the suit, and Phil is standing to his left. Check out Phil's Swoosh peeking out the bottom of his pants, begging to sightsee.

Entry #42 - Pro Bowl Ohana

There's only a couple pics of these on the internet that I can find, and they don't show off the whole shoe, which means you didn't get to see the cool insoles and the lazered OHANA. Hang loose Nike ohana.

Entry #41 - Reggie Bowl

Reggie Miller has been known to throw rocks, and used to hold a tournament to raise funds for charity. Must've been a prestigious tournament, as Chad Bratzke brags about winning the last two.

Entry #40 - Hawkeye Classic

The tagging in this beauty suggests it comes from the first Hawkeye Classic during the 1985-86 season, in which Iowa took down Bradley and Memphis. The tournament itself seems to have gone the way velour warm up suits have, and no longer exists.

Entry #39 - Who Is Evan?

I can't really pin down who Evan was. Anyone know?

Entry #38 - Lee's Urban Jungle Gym

Spike's Urban Jungle Gym was the home court for some of Nike's best all-time commercials. Here's an article outlining what Nike and Spike were up to, including plans to put out a line of Urban Jungle Gym sports apparel in August of 1992.

Here's a look at a couple of those commercials:

Entry #37 - Oregon USA - Made in Italy

This is the only Made in Italy Nike Oregon jacket I own. Was it a ski jacket line Nike was coming up with? Tagging seems to suggest this is from the mid 80's.

Entry #36 - Two Ball Bowling Bag

This is the two ball bag from the mid-80's Nike bowling line. Has two cups for two bowling balls, and cool drawstring bags that cover each ball. Sweet Nike Bowling logo zipper handles too.

Entry #35 - Paisley = Argyle

I guess there was an attempt to make paisley a part of women's Tar Heel basketball like argyle has in the men's program.

Haven't seen it for a while.

This piece was made for Tracy Reid.
